Walk in and your first impression will be the atmosphere. Aside from the glorious smells permeating around you the restaurant is welcoming and comfortable. Here’s my experience at Urban Farmer Steakhouse.
The staff is immediately attentive and inquires about your visit. A typical steakhouse Urban Farmer is not.
There’s a bar where you can choose to enjoy your lunch or dinner while talking about your day and enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail, beer, or try something unique like a Paloma de Otoño.
With the basis of their food coming from local food sources the chefs here are determined to bring the great taste of organic ranches, fisheries, and farms into every bite of the mouthwatering dishes they present to each patron.
I sat near the open kitchen so I could see the magic behind the great dishes that are served in the unique steakhouse.
As I always do, I asked my very attentive and personable waiter what he would recommend to his mother. He immediately told me that I needed to try Urban Farmer’s rendition of shrimp and grits.
I’m a firm believer that you get the best advice from those who are invested in their jobs and that principle did not fail me this time.
Along with the delicious popcorn grits came spiced shrimp, pulled pork, topped with a soft poached egg and rye croutons. It was absolutely delicious and the addition of the pulled pork made it a definite one of a kind.
There are other specialties and treats that have a unique twist making this restaurant one of Cleveland’s hidden gems in terms of restaurants.
Check out their menus here if you don’t believe me!
Cleveland is a foodie city for sure and Urban Farmer is a must visit restaurant when you’re eating your way around. I highly recommend taking at least one of your meals there.
You will NOT be disappointed!!
