I took this gorgeous shot in Kerry just south and west of the town of Killarney, Ireland. The expanse of rugged mountainous country includes the McGillycuddy’s Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland, which rise to over 1000 meters. At the world famous Lakes of Killarney, where the mountains sweep down to the lake shores, you’ll find the 10,236 hectares (26,000 acres) of the Killarney National Park. The extraordinary combination of mountains, lakes, woods and waterfalls gives the area a special scenic beauty.
