Beautiful Maldivian Sunset
On my recent trip to the Maldives I stayed at the Maafushivaru Resort located on the Ari atoll, which floats peacefully in the Indian Ocean.
Along with it’s white, powdery sand beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, and near perfect weather, the Maldives delivers some of the world’s most breathtaking sunsets.

Each night I experienced another beautiful Maldivian sunset and can honestly say that I never tired of viewing them. Accompanied by warm tropical breezes kissed with a hint of that all too familiar smell of the sea, the Maldives is truly a paradise especially for couples celebrating a romantic occasion. It’s no wonder thousands of visitors travel hundreds of miles each year to experience this little slice of heaven.
The sunrises were wonderful as well however I prefer sunsets. Sunsets are filled with beautiful colors and, I feel, are natures way of bidding us goodnight.
It’s been a life long dream of mine to visit the Maldives and the experience was more than I anticipated. It was hard for me to settle in the evenings for sleep, I didn’t want to close my eyes and miss a moment of my time on the island. Each day was more glorious than the day before and, as it often does when you’re having fun, time went by too fast.
I will definitely visit the Maldives again and can’t recommend it enough to anybody who enjoys tropical weather, beautiful sunny days, lazing on the beach, and enjoying local fresh seafood. Seriously, this was by far my favorite working vacation!
I’ve traveled to many countries and seen many sunsets but, to date, none compares to the beautiful Maldivian sunset that I was privy to.
